I think this week we will make an offer on a cutsie tiny house in Portland.  The outside needs some love, but we are young and able and sometimes even handy!  Now Tim will show me all those skills he learned building homes when we first met.

I didn't picture us living in NE Portland, but we're kind of falling in love with the idea.  Right smack in between both families (25 minutes to Tigard, 25 to Corbett!).  And many other Kurkinens live within 5 or 10 minutes!  Our favorite coffee shops a quick drive away.  Hard to believe.

It's quick to works and all around a good first place.

We'll see what happens with the offer, the financing, etc.

We went way under budget with this place... but that's the living simply part we're trying to hold to.  If we have to pay less for this home than we do for rent, that would be IDEAL.  It's in God's hands.  I'm a little nervous... but I think you'll like it!
